Cambridge web design company, Digital Spoke, approached 29digital to build a bespoke content management system for their design clients.
Utilising PHP and the CodeIgniter framework, the finished site included many features that would have proved difficult to implement using an out-of-the-box commercial CMS, including separately branded minisites, area-specific email newsletter management, and an online conference booking application.
“Digital Spoke have been working with Matthew for a year now and he has delivered excellently and consistently in this time. Whether it's a simple job, like transferring a Photoshop design into a standards compliant HTML template, or something more complex, like designing and building an entire content management system, Matthew has more than proved his worth. His knowledge of the web and development skills are what we would consider to be at the top of his game. He works well under his own initiative and his project management ability is particularly sharp - we rarely, if ever, need to chase him for anything. In fact, Matthew is frequently the person who initiates contact, which is very refreshing. In short, we consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a dedicated and talented freelancer.”
